i only need to see the word "chocolate " my mouth starts watering.
if you ask me, its the food of the gods, imagine a world without it ?
sorry, that was uncalled for.
Now then, chocolate covered fingers look like this....
mmm, look good dont they ?
i know,, i want one too,, but i havent got any and the stores are closed.
another of one of life`s pleasures is a cup of tea.
i could write plenty on the subject and, believe me, i intend to.
...but not at the moment.
now then, here`s the good bit....
1 . have a nibble on both ends of your chocolate finger.
2. use it like a straw to drink the tea. ( put some effort in,, it`s worth it.)
3. when you feel the tea reach your lips, immediately eat the chocolate.
it helps if you cool your chocolate biscuit first, and notice the word "immediately".
yr welcome.
thanks for reading

Nice combination!
ReplyDeletealmost the perfect combination.
DeleteNice! I used to do this with Twizzlers and soda. Now I am going to definitely have to try with chocolate and tea.
ReplyDeletedoesnt work if the chocolate is warm. you end up with " choccy-chin" - not a good look.
DeleteI'll have to try this -- I love Cadbury's chocolate fingers! I think I read once that Australians do the same thing with their Tim Tams and tea.
ReplyDelete( quickly googles tim tams ).
ReplyDelete...yup, that would work. they look like penguin biscuits,, slobber slobber.
They do yes, its called a tim tam slammer! I LOVE TEA AND CHOCOLATE! really didnt think so many other people suck tea up thru their chocolate covered biscuits though, we should start a gang LOL
Deleteyumm, i want some
ReplyDeletesadly here in the states I think tea is relegated to breakfast only. But tea and chocolate fingers does sound like an awesome snack
ReplyDeleteWho says so? I used to have tea after school almost every day.
DeleteThanks for the tip, mate. Gonna try it out with all wacky sorts of tea flavors!
ReplyDeleteOOOH, the same thing also works with Kit Kats but NOT the Kit Kat Chunky.
ReplyDeleteit works with a cold mars-bar too, but you really really have to suck. ahem...
DeleteMaybe I'll try that with coconut milk and a locust.
ReplyDeleteThanks for following, you're my first follower. I followed back :-)
ReplyDeleteOkay yeah, that sounds delicious.
ReplyDeleteUgh I don't think I'd like my chocolate soggy with tea. I prefer them seperate.
ReplyDeleteChocolate covered fingers?
ReplyDeleteNow, we know Jeffrey Dahmer's favorite snack foods.
Why must you make me so hungry?!?!
ReplyDeleteNow.. to start drinking tea..
ReplyDeletei had to cut down my tea intake, it was getting out of hand. no more than 3 a day nowadays.
Deleteurg not the thing I want to see right now :< I bet it would be good when I'm not feeling ill though haha
ReplyDeleteWhen I was young I used to do this with red licorice and pop. heh heh
ReplyDeleteNow that I am a grown up I still do it. I just make sure nobody is looking.
Dammit, I need to try that, you could be a tea and chocolate genius....
ReplyDeleteah man... Now i gotta go to the groceries for toblerone...
ReplyDeleteohhh i like that with sigar.. lol
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy eating and drinking in unconventional ways. Thanks for adding to my unique palate!
ReplyDeleteI'm having multiple orgasms.
ReplyDeleteA Northern lad who loves chocolate... be still my beating heart! We don't get chocolate fingers here anymore. We now have to pay import prices and buy the from the UK shop in town. So cross!
ReplyDeleteDisgusting and pointless factoid: I can eat a whole 200g slab of Cadbury's chocolate in under a minute and two of them in under 5 minutes. I can also eat a litre of chocolate mousse in one sitting! Scary, innit?!
I love a good cuppa, too. Best thing after a long and tiring day! I like to make 'straws' out of this chocolate:

I take a glass of milk and do the same as you do with the chocolate fingers. Here is a cross section, look at how awesome it is, like Superman's crystals!

Mmm....! Om nom nom! :)

DeleteNo chocolate would be a life without happiness. And I am diabetic so it would be good for me, but my wife would be bitchy.
ReplyDeleteI've given it up for lent and it's the hardest thing ever
ReplyDeleteMazing and delicious of course (lol)
ReplyDeleteneed to drink more tea, i usually go on coffee binges
ReplyDeleteInteresting combination, never thought of it.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds good. :)

ReplyDeleteOh man, all I drink is tea. It makes me feel good, hahaha.
ReplyDeleteI blame being up to early on the fact i just followed this and managed to incinerate my tounge beyond belief . Being a brit i'm going to attempt with every cuppa i have today until i finally manage to get it right .
ReplyDeleteYou have mastered the fine art of dunking. I dunk doughnuts, biscuits and all sorts of things. Now I'm hungry.
